Facility Services Supervisor
We're looking for an enthusiastic supervisor who thrives in client-first service to DCC pass holders, visitors and external rental groups while overseeing facility operations. This role requires someone who can provide support to front-line staff and volunteers while also ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of DCC. The ability to be proactive, possessing effective organizational skills and coordinating multiple priorities and departments are a must.
Job Title: Facility Services Supervisor
Hours: Up to 30 hours/week, evenings and weekends (schedule may vary).

Arena Ice Technician
With two busy arenas in the Jonathan Toews Sportsplex, we are looking for enthusiastic and qualified people who can work with us as licenced Arena & Ice Technicians.
Job Title: Arena & Ice Technician
Hours: Full and Part Time

Qualifications:
- Valid Power Engineer’s Certificate Refrigeration Class (W) is required or the equivalent Power Engineer Level 4 or better
- Valid driver’s license – Class 5 is required
- First Aid/CPR/AED and WHIMS 2017 training would be considered an asset
- Previous experience in arena ice management and/or facility management will be considered an asset

Winter Break Camp Instructors
Dakota Community Centre is looking for instructors to lead our Winter Break Camp—seven days of sports, art, and gaming fun for children 6 – 11 years old! This year’s camp is running from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily on December 27-29th, 2023 and January 2-5th, 2024.
Our ideal instructor is a leader who:
- enjoys creating a fun and exciting environment for children to be active and explore sports, arts and crafts, games and video games.
- is friendly and energetic, and communicates well with both children and parents.
- has basic knowledge of a variety of indoor sports, arts and craft projects, and board/card/video games appropriate for children.
- has experience working with children as an instructor, leader or coach, and/or is currently pursuing education in a related field.
- is available for some or all of the camp dates listed above.
- holds current First Aid and CRP/AED certification (or will obtain prior to camp).

Little Lazers Instructors
Dakota Community Centre is looking for instructors for our Little Lazers program—sports and activity programs for children ages 2 – 8 years old. Currently, these programs run 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. We have instructor openings available right now!
Our ideal instructor is a leader who:
- enjoys creating a safe, fun and exciting environment for children to be active and explore sports and physical activity.
- is friendly and energetic, and communicates well with both children and parents.
- has basic knowledge of a variety of indoor sports, including basketball and soccer, and can translate this knowledge into appropriate games and activities for young children.
- has experience working with children as an instructor, leader or coach, and/or is currently pursuing education in a related field.
- is regularly and consistently available for at least one of the days and times listed above—more than one is great!
- holds current First Aid and CPR/AED certification (or will obtain upon employment).
