Intro to Resistance Training

In this leader-guided class, participants learn the fundamentals of resistance training including proper form, correct posture and appropriate intensity based on fitness level and goals. Participants will be introduced to selectorized equipment, dumbbells and body weight exercises each week. This program will help people new to resistance training feel more comfortable using the equipment and safely expanding their workout options.

When: Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Dates: 4 week sessions  (April 3 – April 24)

A low intensity exercise and learning program for individuals living with lung disease (C.O.P.D.). Goals are to reduce feelings of breathlessness during daily activities, remain independent as long as possible, and feel supported with lung disease self-management.

When: Tuesdays, 12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Dates: 8 sessions  (April 16 - June 4)
