DCC Local Markets
The vendor application process for the Christmas Market and Pop-Up Markets will be handled using a single application for the whole year. The 2024 application will be uploaded at a later date.
Christmas Market 2023
** Please be advised that the market is now full**
This is our oldest and longest running market - over 36 years! Vendors from all over Manitoba set up and sell their wares during this 2-day weekend event in November.
Market Dates for 2023: Saturday, November 4th from 10.am. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 5th from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Jonathan Toews Sportsplex
Cost: $5 per day (Kids 10 & under free)
Note to Vendors: please be advised that you cannot sign up for just one day and you are not allowed to share booth space with other vendors. All products intented to be sold at the market must be listed in the application and applicable permits included if items intended to be sold are consumables.
Cancellation Policy: If you are accepted as a vendor but can no longer attend, you will have until October 1, 2023 to notify us (colleen@dakotacc.com). We will issue a refund (minus a $25 administration fee.) After that date, no refunds will be issued.
Pop-Up Markets
Pop-Up Markets will do just that - pop up out of nowhere. These markets are going to be smaller in nature and will occur during larger events that take place at Dakota Community Centre. Location of the markets will vary depending on the event and will be communicated as each pop-up market is announced. To participate, email colleen@dakotacc.com for more information.
Cancellation Policy: A cancellation policy will be communicated for each pop-up market event.
Notice to Food Truck Vendors: If you would like to participate in any large scale events held at DCC that include tournaments and Dakota Days held August 18 & 19, 2023, please fill out the below Market Vendor Application. You will be placed on a notification list and will be contacted when we are soliciting Food Trucks. Please note that a copy of your health permit will need to be uploaded to your application. Also be advised that there is no access to power to run a mobile food truck. You will need to bring and operate your own generator.

The 2023 application is now an online form. Simply fill it out and it will automatically be submitted to us. If you have successfully submitted the application - you will also receive a copy of your application sent to your email. If you do not receive this copy then it has not been submitted. Please try again, if still not submitting, please email colleen@dakotacc.com for assistance.
Buskers / Entertainers:
We're always looking for buskers and entertainers to join us during market days to liven up the atmosphere! If you'd like to provide your services, email colleen@dakotacc.com.
- When emailing Colleen, please provide a sample video or a link to a performance (if you have one available).
- Applicants must be over the age of 18.
- All performances must be of a content and quality suitable for family viewing. Acts deemed vulgar, in poor taste or offensive are strictly prohibited.
- No AMPLIFIED performances allowed on site.
- Performances will only be allowed at designated area (as shown by coordinator on day of market)
- Performance appreciation is at the discretion of the audience. (No solicitation, signage or interception)
- You will be considered an ambassador of DCC. Appropriate attire and professional conduct is expected at all times.
- Your performance must be self sustaining. DCC will not be able to provide any equipment.
